Mother’s Day
Dang. This is like the longest I’ve gone without posting something new. I don’t know what happened. I think I’ve been lazy or busy or just have nothing to write about. Nah, it’s all 3. :D
So last Saturday was the Pacquiao vs. Hatton fight. Hatton got owned in the second round and everyone at Josh’s house went crazy. After the fight, Josh’s friends, Mark, and I played 21 for like hours until we were tired, which was like at midnight. The last time I played basketball like that was like weeks or months. That was such a fun and tiring night.
Um, I don’t really remember what happened that rest of the week. In chemistry, we had a video project and my group had to do our’s on solutions. I remember going to the park by Kyle’s house and messing around after we shot some video for the project. I climbed up the jungle gym thing and took this picture.
In digital film, we’ve been watching documentaries and we’ve watched Super Size Me, When the Levees Broke, and we’re watching Confessions of a Superhero right now. I still don’t know what I’m going to do for my documentary project. It’s going to be tough making a 15 minute documentary. -_-
Friday was pretty cool. After school, my brother and I went to this dental lab (no, that’s not the cool part) and after that, we went to Montclair Plaza. My brother and I walked around a little bit and we got some new shirts. After that, we went home and then to Nick’s place to watch the Lakers game. We only watched a little bit of it and at halftime, we went to his backyard and set up the basketball court. The court took a while to put together but when we finally got it up, we played a couple games of basketball. We played so much that we didn’t even watch the rest of the Lakers game. Haha, fun night.
On Saturday, I had to get up earlier than usual to go to the AP World History study session. I really didn’t learn that much but maybe it was because I wasn’t paying attention. My friends tried making a pyramid with the empty soda cans and whenever it fell down, everyone in the cafeteria would stare at us.
It was a little over 3 hours long and after, there was pizza and soda to drink. After, I went home, did some chores, and we went to a buffet to celebrate an early Mother’s Day with my cousins and grandparents. Food was alright and my cousin, brother, and I came up with this idea to start a business. After, we went to my grandparents’s house and watched this DVD of David Foster singing songs with different people. Surprisingly, it was pretty good. I was busy studying for APWH and I was so tired when we went home.
Today’s Mother’s Day! Today, I went to church with the family. After, we got some pho and watched the Lakers game at the same time. We went home for a little bit and watched the Lakers game. Lakers did really bad. :/ Later in the afternoon, the family and I went to spend Mother’s Day with my other cousins. We ate a little bit and just talked after that.
It’s pretty late and I’ve still got homework to finish. Let’s see . . . 2 essays for APWH, 1 report to revise, APWH multiple-choice final tomorrow, AP World History test on Thursday, and chemistry video project due tomorrow.
Whatever, it’s all good.
